Located about one hour south of Berlin in Brand, Tropical Island is housed in a massive retired airship hangar. Our team worked onsite to recommend new visitor entertainment elements. Management Resources was selected in July 2004 to provide
complete operational planning for the preparation of opening
and management of the 30-acre Entertainment City Amusement
Park, 14-acre Calypso Bay Water Park and The Hub arrival
village in the city of Noida, India, which is in the New
Delhi metropolitan area. Working alongside Forrec, a Canadian-based
design company, MR is providing operational input into
design, validating design parameters, providing templates,
developing the pre-opening operational strategies, policies
and planning, as well as and numerous other tasks necessary
prior to developing the park operations in India. Phase
One of Entertainment City is planned to open in spring
of 2006. |

Working
with the largest shopping center developer in South America,
In Mont, we provided operational input into the ticketing
operations, the overall marketing, staffing and training
programs for this entertainment center located in the
state of Bahia on the northeast coast of Brazil.

innovative children's entertainment center in Mexico
City. In preparation for an international roll-out of
these facilities, we developed the operating policies
and procedures; developed specific recommendations for
enhancing the visitor experience and improving the documentation
of the facility's operational and training activities.
Additionally, we identified qualified sponsorship sales
candidates for consideration by the client. |

Moreland

provided operational input into the development and design
of uShake Marine World, a marine theme park in Durban. As part of the assignment,
MR developed a design day analysis and physical planning
requirements; provided a preliminary ticket sales and
marketing strategy sufficient to achieve the revenue projections;
provided a supply-side analysis and assisted in refining
the project components to ensure that the attraction had
the ability to accommodate anticipated attendance levels.
Additionally, we developed preliminary pre-opening operating
and first year operating budgets for the park and developed
the preliminary staffing plan. |

After working on Entertainment City in Noida, India, in
August 2004 Management Resources was requested to also
provide the operational planning and development for the
28-acre Adventure Island Amusement Park and the City Walk
entertainment district in the city of Rohini, India, which
is also in the New Delhi metro area. As with the Noida
parks, MR is providing operational input into design as
well as complete pre-opening and operational strategy
and planning. Phase One of Adventure Island is scheduled
to open in spring of 2006. |

as the operator during the initial planning phase for
a new theme park in Asia, developed design day attendance
planning models, provided operation input into the design,
analyzed and refined the conceptual program and developed
zero-based pre-opening and operating budgets. MR
worked closed with Universal in evaluating the potential
purchase of Port Aventura in Salou, Spain. Evaluated
the business plan for the Universal Experience in Beijing,
