Working with Dentsu/HF&P (Expo 2000's corporate and concessionaire marketing entity), developed an attendance and design day analysis; recommended food / beverage and merchandise per capita spending; and developed a food / beverage and merchandise sizing requirement, product mix and layout plan for all pavilion and Expo 2000 on-site concessions for this BIE sanctioned Universal Class I World Exposition. In addition, we continued to provide an on-site review and furnish Expo operational staff with insights and experiences of past World Expositions.

 
1995 World's Fair

In conjunction with Grey Advertising of New York, provided marketing, sponsorship, cooperative opportunities and operational planning input for this unique, two-city World's Fair.
 
Expo '92
Seville, Spain

Comprehensive review of site master plan and the development of sizing requirements for food, merchandise, rides, attractions and pavilions. World-wide inventory of international events and projects including attendance, admissions, pricing and sponsorship. characteristics. Developed concessions plan for on-site food and merchandise concessions. Assisted Telemundi in developing the business plan for their commercialization rights contract. Provided show / exhibit design and fabrication services through a consortium of North American and European companies.
 
Expo '88
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Created a North American marketing plan for this Australian destination. Developed staff orientation programs for approximately 8,000 paid and volunteer employees; site operations training program for supervisors / managers; community orientation program presented throughout Queensland to over 300,000 people in the tourism service sector.
 
1988 Winter Olympic Games
Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Developed a spectator services operating plan to address crowd management requirements at the nine competitive venue sites.
 
Expo '86
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Provided a wide variety of consulting services including the development of event marketing plan, operational staffing plan, operational budget plan and concessions program and plan. Implemented marketing effort which generated over 9 million U.S. visits to this six-month event. Managed operational staffing department, hiring and training of over 15,000 staff.
 
The Calgary Exhibition and Stampede
Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Developed a detailed plan for providing different layering and partner options for the Stampede and sponsor companies to maximize the value of their relationship. Developed and implemented a National Sweepstakes Promotion for the 1994 Stampede based upon "borrowed interest" in the release of the motion picture "City Slickers II". This successful promotion was the largest of its kind ever undertaken by the Calgary Stampede.
 
Pacific National Exhibition
Vancouver, British Columbia

Developed and implemented a concept plan for a 40,000 square foot marquee attraction in the Forum Building at the PNE. Developed sponsorship plan and implemented the sponsorship program to secure funding for this attraction. Developed and implemented an ongoing promotional and marketing program in the Pacific Northwest, generating an estimated $350,000 - $400,000 in measurable media exposure resulting in increased incremental visits to the Exhibition.
 
1998 Philippine Exposition
Manila, Philippines

Provided operational planning and management in the form of two full-time managers to this year - long celebration of the 100th anniversary of Philippine independence. Our on-site staff provided guidance and management assistance to the development of the management, operations and marketing programs during the pre-opening period and one month into the post opening of the exposition.
