Bob
Baldwin has an extensive background in leisure and entertainment.
He spent over twenty-six years with The Walt Disney
Company in a variety of marketing, sales and operating
positions including Worldwide Director of the Magic
Kingdom Club and Director of Sales and Creative Services
at Disneyland.
For
a number of years, Bob managed the Company's direct
marketing ventures for theme parks and resorts worldwide
including relationship marketing programs; membership
and affinity programs; corporate sales; magazine publishing
and direct response activities. These programs contributed
significant, trackable revenues to Disney and were the
cornerstone of its direct marketing efforts.
Bob
also spent a substantial amount of time in Europe and
Japan while the Company was building and opening Disneyland
Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. He was responsible for an
international team of marketing and sales personnel
in Europe and Asia during these projects, and was deeply
involved in the development of marketing and sales programs
for both destinations.
After
his Disney career, Bob helped launch a start-up interactive
entertainment software company providing in-flight entertainment
programs for the airline industry. As Senior Vice President
of Marketing and Communications, he was responsible
for all corporate marketing including advertising, promotion,
publicity, public relations, trade shows, research and
business development.
Bob
has joined Management Resources specializing in marketing
and sales. Projects include: All-American SportsPark,
Maryland Science Center, Smithsonian Business Ventures,
International Gateway of the Americas, La Ciudad de
los Ninos, Legoland California, and the Aquarium of
the Pacific in Long Beach.
