Brad Merriman is a Principal with California-based Management Resources, a management consulting and business advisory services firm that since 1980 has been planning new leisure developments and assisting commercial, not-for-profit and other visitor attractions explore how they can improve the performance of their business and maximize the value of their assets.

Brad also leads MR's efforts related to project financing, including start-up capital and new-project financing (equity and debt), re-capitalization efforts for existing projects (from both the owner/operator and debt sides), and purchase transactions (private equity).
Brad joined MR in 1996, following several years in management and strategic planning at two publicly-traded firms in the financial products/services sector. Formerly president and managing partner of a successful services firm, he has personal experience in taking a preliminary business concept, developing a business plan, executing the plan and turning it into a successful business, and ultimately exiting successfully - both in terms of return on investment and leaving behind a viable company.
Currently a member of the Thea Awards Committee, Brad has held a variety of committee and regional board positions and been an active member of the TEA for over ten years. |
