Ken Wagener has over 25 years of experience in numerous leisure and themed entertainment projects providing training, operations, and marketing expertise.  He served as General Manager for a first-of-its-kind indoor theme park, the Wonderful World of Whimsy, in Hong Kong, as well as at several other venues, and brings a broad background of experience to Management Resources’ clients and projects.

His involvement with a number of companies and projects includes: Marriott; General Growth Management; EXPO 86 in Vancouver, British Columbia; Chuck E. Cheese; Whimsy International; Iwerks Entertainment; Mystic Seaport; Hershey Museum; Cuffy’s of Cape Cod; and Lights of Liberty in Philadelphia. He has worked on the pre-opening operational team of over a dozen themed attractions.

For our affiliated operating company, ProFun Management Group he provided onsite marketing, operations, and administration assistance at uShaka MARINE WORLD in Durban, South Africa.  Kenny also acted as ProFun’s project director on a water park project in Daytona Beach where he was responsible for developing budgets, and all of the pre-opening planning for the refurbishment and operations.  During ProFun’s management of the historic Daytona Beach Pier, he also oversaw all of marketing and operations activities as well as planning for the Pier expansion.
